can only be as good as the questions that are asked.
Our PreGDE
service provides preliminary target market data to
help our clients during the
focus group preparation period. The data is gathered
while focus groups are being recruited and allows the
moderator to effectively prepare questions ensuring a
successful session. In many instances, interesting ideas surface
from PreGDE that would have otherwise been undiscovered. These surveys can be designed, published and distributed
in 3-5 business days.
How Does Pre-Group Data Enrichment Work?
PreGDE service incorporates an online survey with
the traditional recruitment process. For a

The online survey
can include skip patterns, branching, piping, pictures,
as well as open and close ended question (for a
complete and detailed list of our survey features
please click here).
Respondents are notified in advance about the online
questionnaire and are given a due date by which to
have it completed. The responses are collected
by the GreatOpinions IT department 2-3 days prior to
the group and are delivered via email. Data can
be delivered in multiple formats including HTML
(web), CSV (MS Excel), and MDB (MS Access). PreGDE surveys can be setup, dispersed, and delivered
in 2-5 days.
How do PreGDE respondents get compensated?
PreGDE participants are compensated in a similar manner
to standard focus groups respondents. Participants
are given their honorarium following the focus group.
During the recruiting process respondents are informed that
the compensation is contingent on their participation in
the pre-group survey. In
instances where respondents forget or do not choose to
complete the online questionnaire, they are usually
compensated at 80%. In instances where PreGDE surveys are lengthy additional
incentive may be necessary.
