While respondents are very articulate and provide valuable information, there may be instances when questions arise after the group is completed.  For this reason GreatOpinions offers its PostGDE service allowing our clients to further probe their most valuable participants. Ideas can be explored deeper and unanswered question can be asked.

How Does Post-Group Data Enrichment Work?
This service incorporates a follow up questionnaire to the focus group process. At the conclusion of the focus group, decisions are made as to what additional questions need to be asked and to which panelists. The GreatOpinions staff will then create the survey and deliver it to the selected panelists.

The survey can include skip patterns, branching, piping, pictures, as well as open and close ended question (for a complete and detailed list of our survey features please click here).  The responses are collected by the GreatOpinions IT department 2-3 days following the group and are delivered via email. Data can be delivering in multiple formats including HTML (web), CSV (MS Excel), and MDB (MS Access). PostGDE survey results are delivered in 1-3 days following the focus group.

How do PostGDE respondents get compensated?
Respondents are notified about follow up surveys during the recruiting process.  With early notification respondents are compensated 80% at the time of the focus group and 20% after they have completed the follow up survey (by check).  This method is recommended to maximize participation.

In many instance clients do not know until the conclusion of the group whether they will need a post-group survey.  In these situations respondents are re-contacted and offered additional incentive to participate in the online survey.
