Cindy Chertock started her
market research career at the ripe old age of 19 working
for ActNow as an Area Supervisor. The next step in her
career was in 1985 with CSI, a target market research
firm. At CSI she organized and conducted in-home round
table discussions on consumer goods. These were some
really fun years getting to know the “real” American
consumer. As in everyone’s life, there was a decision to
change careers. Returning to school she worked part-time
as an executive interviewer, moderator, recruiter,
facility manager, tab/coder, etc. (the everything girl)
for Mars Surveys who predicted that she would be in
market research for the rest of her life! This was her
career, she just didn’t know it.
Upon moving back to New York, Mars Surveys contacted
Bette Dyszel and a new page in history began! Not only
had Bette attended Queens College, but Cindy attended
there as well.
In 1995 Bette and Cindy formed The People Bank
Recruiting Services offering pre-recruited executive
interviewing and moderation.
With a new Millennium, becomes a new start: Bette Dyszel
& Associates together with The People Bank Recruiting
Service merged to become Great Opinions offering every
imaginable market research service, if you can think of
